By accessing or using the TradeMarkt Seller Portal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
To register as a seller, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding contract. You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
Sellers may list and sell both new and second-hand items, provided they accurately describe the condition of the product in the listing.
All product listings must be accurate, complete, and truthful. This includes descriptions, images, pricing, and shipping information.
TradeMarkt strictly prohibits the listing and sale of illegal, hazardous, or counterfeit items, as well as items that violate any third-party intellectual property rights. A full list of prohibited items is available in our Seller Policy Guidelines.
Sellers are responsible for processing and dispatching orders promptly after receiving payment confirmation from TradeMarkt.
You are responsible for securely packaging and shipping items to customers. We recommend using tracking services for all shipments.
TradeMarkt charges a commission fee on all successful sales. The exact commission rate will be communicated to you during the listing process and may vary by category.
Funds from completed transactions will be deposited into your nominated bank account after the customer has received the item and the transaction status is marked as 'completed' or 'delivered' within our system. Payout schedules and minimum payout thresholds apply.
For Business Seller Accounts, an additional fee of R50 per user account per month applies for each sub-user added to your business profile.
Sellers must adhere to TradeMarkt's return policy and handle customer disputes in a fair and timely manner. Our dispute resolution process is in place to mediate if necessary.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and disclose information.
TradeMarkt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service.
TradeMarkt reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of any material changes. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
